A huge congratulations to our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team!

They have been shortlisted for a prestigious Cheshire and Merseyside Social Work Teaching Partnership Award – which celebrates excellence in social work – and specifically for ‘Outstanding contribution to the social work sector’. This award is open to both qualified and non-qualified social workers who have developed a career within the sector and have become inspirational role models for the profession.

The team was praised by the Knowsley Council Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, Cllr Margaret Harvey:

“This is fantastic achievement for the team, to be shortlisted for the work they do in the social work sector. Good luck!”

The awards aim to recognise the work of social workers, promote best practice in the professional, improve understanding of the range of work undertaken by social works and celebrate and promote diversity and equal opportunities in social care.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 19 March 2020.
