We're looking for you

Knowsley’s child and family social workers are invited to register for the National Accreditation and Assessment System (NAAS) – a key part of the government’s reforms to children’s social work practice.

Knowsley Council is an early adopter of the scheme which enables its social workers to access training aimed at building and improving their skills and knowledge, while showing that Knowsley operates to the highest national standards when protecting families and children.

The NAAS is a voluntary assessment set against the Post Qualifying Standards and social workers taking part can access funding which can be used to create a bespoke training package towards accreditation.

The second NAAS Pilot cohort will run from October to January. Applications are open to both Practitioners and Practice Supervisors. If you are interested in taking part in the NAAS, or wish to find out more, please contact: Charlie.phipps@knowsley.gov.uk.
