Tuesday 17 March 2020 is World Social Work Day. As part of the day, there will be a live webcast from Cafcass taking place from 10am until 11am. Please come along to a room that we have pre-booked for you, refreshments are also provided.

What is the webcast?

It will focus on the theme for 2020 World Social Work Day: “promoting the importance of human relationships”

The following panelists will be discussing the importance of feedback in social work and how this can impact on the relationships between social workers, children and families.

Who are the panelists?

There will be a total of six panelists: Jacky Tiotto, Eileen Munro, Isabelle Trowler, Julia Dark, Matthew Jeary and a member of the Family Justice Young People’s Board.

Julia Dark is the Senior Business Services Manager at Cafcass and Matthew Jeary is the Family Court Adviser at Cafcass.

What is Cafcass?

Cafcass stands for Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service. It represents children in family court cases in England.
