Client Property Affairs Team

The key role of the Client Property and Affairs Team is to effectively manage the finances of service users who are assessed under Mental Capacity legislation as being unable to manage their own financial affairs and there is no other person/s available or suitable to support in this role.

A financial plan is devised for each person based on income and expenditure and plans are regularly reviewed with changes made to reflect any change in circumstances.

Ongoing Deputyship support is provided to that person by the team.  The Team provides annual returns to the Office of the Public Guardian as required. The team consists of 3 Court of Protection Officers, providing a borough wide service to ensure the financial needs of those we support are provided for.
